CLIENT PREVIEW · FOR MULTI-UNIT PROPERTIES
Inspection coming up?
Walk your property on your phone and get a prioritized fix list: what to fix first, where each issue is, and which issues repeat across units.

- Walk each unit and area. Pick the unit you're standing in, or a common area or the site, and tick what you see. Each item shows HUD's severity, urgent safety advice for Life-Threatening and Severe items, and, separately, the official correction deadline for your program.
- See the pattern. Results show where each issue is, which issues repeat across units, and what needs attention first.
- Print the fix list. Grouped by priority and by unit. You choose what goes on it.
A self-check, not an inspection. NSPIRE Self-Check does not produce an NSPIRE score or predict an inspection result, and it does not replace a professional pre-inspection.
Your walkthrough stays in this browser. No login. Your answers, notes, photos and voice recordings are saved in this browser on this device, not on our servers. The walk works offline once it's loaded. Clearing your browser data can delete them, and some browsers clear data for sites you haven't used in a while. You can export your walk to a file and import it into another browser yourself - nothing is uploaded when you do.
Two things can leave this browser:
- A results-screen count, sent automatically when you reach the results screen (details at the bottom of the page).
- A consultation request, only if you fill in and send the form. Your findings summary goes with it only if you tick the box to attach it.
Step 1 of 2
Who's inspecting your property?
Quick clues
- The notice came from HUD or REAC and covers the whole property: choose HUD (REAC).
- The housing authority scheduled it for a tenant's voucher (Section 8, HCV or PBV): choose housing authority.
- You have both kinds of units or inspections: choose Some of each.
Or start now. Each finding shows HUD's severity, and its official correction deadline is marked “needs confirmation” until the program is identified. Life-Threatening and Severe items still show urgent safety advice: address now. You can answer these clues any time from the walkthrough.

“Address now” is urgent safety advice for Life-Threatening and Severe items, whatever the program. It is not a legal deadline. The official correction deadline is shown separately, per program, with its source (sources). Under HCV, a Severe item is due in 30 days, not 24 hours.
